Vitamin C Power Smoothie Recipe
With all that’s going on in the world now, it’s so important to keep our immune systems at their peak performance and one of the easiest ways to do that is by the foods we consume. Different vegetables and fruits have different purposes for what vitamins and minerals they give us. With strawberries and raspberries that are high in fiber, protect against cancer, and help fight inflammation, and red bell peppers that already contain a high amount of vitamin C, this berry blast smoothie is high in antioxidants like lycopene and anthocyanins from the red foods.
Vitamin C is a great water soluble antioxidant and is very important for the development of new blood vessels. While we can get it through our food, my C-Power 2000 Vitamin C Supplement is a great addition to your daily routine that helps with fatigue, circulation, and aiding in collagen production so that you get enough of this incredible and necessary vitamin.
Ginger has long held its place as a top immunity boosting ingredient. Ginger is one of the healthiest spices that has many powerful nutrients and bioactive compounds to help your immune system. Ginger has been a main ingredient in both traditional and alternative medicines over the last centuries and is often used to help fight the common flu, fight nausea, and help treat indigestion. Paired with the healing powers of honey that help prevent heart disease and has multiple antibacterial and antifungal properties, the spices and nutrients of this smoothie are the answer to help support and boost your immune system.
